The Raiders have made a smart decision by signing Jimmy Garoppolo instead of pursuing a trade for Aaron Rodgers, despite early rumors. While Rodgers is a talented player, the cost of acquiring him would have been too high for the Raiders to address their needs on defense and build a well-rounded roster.
